Bacon is a food item with low hunger and high saturation. It drops rarely from mobs killed with a weapon that has the tasty attribute, or blocks mined with a tool that has the tasty attribute. The tasty attribute applies to any tool part made of Pig Iron. The lore for it says "The mysteriously appearing snack", noting how it mysteriously appears from any mob killed.
