Anybody know a fix for my tinker's created bows not firing vanilla or tinker type arrows?

Hey everybody! This is my first time posting on the wiki, and I was wondering how you repair slime tools. My slime hammer just broke and I have tried to repair with slime, slime crystals, congealed slime and obsidian (I have a obsidian sharpening kit on mine). Can anybody help me with this?
how do i go and play with cool ores like copper and tin and use also thier triats?
i found that in 1.7.10 there is no traits on any ore that i find and make from it a tool.
and in 1.8---->1.12.2 i found that the most of the cool ores are not yet exsist' but like iron ore and his magnatic triat and wood tools and more are there.
i rly love this traits boosts ; its rly cool and i want them. someone can help me how to play with like copper and his trait boost ?
Alright, it might not come out for a while. All I have right now is a 5 page Powerpoint, and 4 pages are mostly empty. I was thinking about contests where you have to design a tool for something and then other people rate it. Or where you design a weapon from a pile of random parts and fight! Or a creeper-arena fighting game where you kill creepers and trade the gunpowder for better weapons, I have so many ideas, but there's one problem: I have no idea how to make a server. I will probably make some sample LAN worlds, but I don't know how to make one as an official server. Can anyone help?
Due to the large confusion of many issues popping up in the official issue tracker on GitHub and posts on Minecraft forums, the confusion of the difference between Tinkers' Construct and Tinkers' Construct II, and the issue of page information, a couple measures will have to be put in place.
1) The Tinkers' Construct Wikia will split into two wikis. Currently, there is no wiki for Tinkers' Construct II. However, there will be shortly in the future.
2) The current state of the Tinkers' Construct Wikia is to be "locked down". New pages/information for new content from Tinkers' Construct II on this wiki will be removed and reverted in order to prevent confusion.
3) New game content information will be purged from the wiki eventually (and also…
Crafting table numbers have finally been fixed! After looking through many pages of templates, I finally corrected a couple of things.
This means all the recipes with outputs more than one will now work correctly as it should.
I also should mention that we have a template that is already on the wiki but has never been used which happens to be the furnace template.
I have been busy of late, and my free time has been taken up by writing a novel. Sorry. I'll be back fairly soon.
Hello to all yous who do work around here!
First off, I'd like to apologize for being dead. It was a very unfortunate happenstance and I regret not being around when I'm needed. I moved to college in the beginning of the month and got a shiny new computer for it that ran SOOOOO much smoother than this old piece of Vista that has all my accounts bookmarked and logged into. I all but threw my old laptop into a corner when I was able to get more than 10 FPS on modded MC.
Second off, I'd like to thank you all for sticking around and editing pages: adding info, solving grammer issues(intended issue, humor me), and making the pages much easier on the eyes. I never would have been able to do this on my own.
In closing, I'm going to be logging in to …
Hey everyone, my Name is SamwiseFilmore (as you likely already know...). I have liked TC for quite a long time, but haven't found this wiki until today. I do a lot with wikia, being an admin on the LOTR Mod Wiki, and know a lot of cool wikitext tricks and stuff. This is just a hello to you all, and something to remind me to get back here and help you guys make your wiki the best it can be.
(P.S. Would use my signature, but it says "admin" ...)
I am starting a crusade to fix the "orphan" pages. Give them homes!
I'm back after summer. The up-to-date train is chugging into the station. Woot Woot!
One day I was walking along, my wooden shortbow and wooden arrows and wooden sword and wooden knife and wooden shuriken and wooden pickaxe and wooden longbow in my hand(s) when I fell into a cave and discovered metal and ThermX's father. He punched me in the fez with his sword and I sez I ded. I turnz intoz zombiez and zats zis zrains. Ziz zrainz zere zasty.
One week later, on Large Block's News
TherminatorX's dad was found with his face eaten off and a zombie chewing on his leg. The zombie was captured and questioned in the Ministry of Alumite and said, "The chicken places don't let zombies in. What was I to do?" His manicured gentile voice made the investigators relax, and he manipulated their weak minds into opening the cage. He was found…
My updates may not be up to stuff, as I am learning how to use a phone without Swipe. Just saying.
The seven day sequence of updating all the tables has begun. All swords, bows, and other weapons' tables will be added or revamped. If you'd like to help, go to the Planned Wiki Updates page and add your name to the "by".

I recently started a TiC world, where I spawned in a massive desert with a bonus chest. I used the bonus chest to make some TiC crafting blocks and patterns, but I had no wood. When the first night fell, I gave zombies a taste of a sword made of 100% cactus! EAT THORNS UNDEAD SCUM!
I recently discovered daggers. Daggers make my life so much easier. No more fumbling for my bow while Zombies punch me into oblivion. Just slash and fling. The first one I made was just out of crafting scraps, just nonmetallic shards. It flew like a brick and did as much damage as a wet sponge. I flung it at a Ghast and it plopped into a lava pit. The second one I made was not leftovers. Not in the slightest. Alumite blade, blue slime handle, and a guard made of obsidian for Reinforced III. Anyway, I added Quartz and lapis to this sucker and it is now a decent sword in melee with looting, but when thrown, THE PAIN TRAIN IS ENTERING THE STATION, CREEPERS, WOOT WOOT! The only downside is that zombies can pick up my epic dagger and hit me wit…
Shortbows hate me. Or rather I make them hate me. The first one I made was solid stone. It had a durability of nil and a range of 3 feet, doing no damage each time. I gave up on it and made one of bone. Bone shot further, but did minimal damage. I then got a Smeltery going and made one I called the frying bowcon. It had one pig iron limb, one obsidian limb for reinforced 3 and a flamestring bowstring. It got bacon, lit mobs on fire... But the obsidian screwed me over. It had a draw time of 15 seconds, a range of five feet and the damage of a falling snow pea. I had also made really good arrows for this bow, but they just plopped on the ground and zombies picked them up and cleaned my clock with them. I then framed this one and made one, fi…
I made a bow out of solid stone. How stupid was I? It had a range of 3 feet and a durability of nil.
The seared bricks turn invisible whenever I try to place them down. The controller, tank, etc. also do that too.
The "us" is me and the other people on the console edition minecraft wiki. We are currently suffering an epidemic of TROLLING and help would be very much appreciated. I might give some of the people that I know on this wiki admin rights so that you can help by blocking anyone who is trolling. And here is a link to the wiki. Please help us some.
Thank you for coming over Therm, even if only to provide your imput (your "two cents"). And if you didn't notice, I gave you admin there so you could help.
Lets start adding new content so when boni starts updating TCon the wiki will be ready.
Hi! This is my first blog post. I just want to say that I love TiC!
If I were to make an adventure map, and put the world data somewhere that you guys could download it would you guys be willing to play it? Also, it would be nice to know how to get world edit (or something similar) put in SP. Not SSP, SP.
If you do, go to mineworld152.no-ip.org or sometimes play.bosscraftmc.us and mc.theinfinitecraft.org, though those last two are less likely. All 1.5.2! If you do decide to play PCMC on a server with me, please tell me on here and use the same name you use on here (or a very similar one)!
What follows is part two of the journals of the player who will be the "father" of TherminatorX
Log 21: doesn't exist
Log 22: doesn't exist
Log 23: doesn't exist
Log 24: doesn't exist
Trolololol! I've lost my notebook, and can't remember the real stuff! :P
When I do find it, this content will be replaced.
Hey guys! How are you? Good I hope! Assuming you are fine, that is good! I'm fine.
Some things I want you to look at is my creation story AND to give me feedback, and to look at TheOnlyBentley's newest series, which is a development modpack for 1.7.2 including TiC! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iv485mPKwA8&list=UU1KKSlZs8GJPFdEFUZwt1ZA
That is all for now. Bye guys! "See" you later!
It would be nice if you guys would help me figure out how to install mods (if only TiC, optifine, a minimap, and maybe ThC and treecapitator) for 1.5.2 MC. (NOT reverted from 1.6.4). Please guys? I'm doing a superflat survival on the "tunnelers dream" preset and would like to have TiC tools and ThC, even if I had to start over. Maybe world edit so I could save my…
Aight, sick and tired of the flipping FTB packs not working for people. Let's try engineering a pack which I shall dub the "WightPack Ultimate" pack.
Mods I want to have installed:
Highlander (It's another biome mod that I happen to like. It gives you pretty good biomes without lagging you to hell like BoP does.)
Ars Magica 2
Tinker's Steelworks (?)
I'm sure I'll think of others, but anyways:
What mods would you guys like to see in the modpack?
So guess what, guys? I've got things set up so I'll be able to get a server set up soon! :3 So the question is..
WightPack Technophile, or WightPack Magus?
If you guys want the specifics of the packs (I'm too lazy to type it all out right now >->) just let me know. Basically, Technophile is lots of tech but no magic and Magus is lots of magic with minimal tech (it has forestry.. I had to throw that guilty pleasure in there. Not quite kosher, but I have to have my bees ;-;)
If you guys really want a different modpack (FTB, hexxit, etc.), feel free to suggest them and I'll consider using one of them instead.
I'm excited to play with you guys! :D
Recently, while playing a custom pack with my buddy Mr_Smiley(to-be username), he came upon the realization that alumite looks like candy! We started throwing possible names around after he named his longsword "Lollipop," and came up with "Sugar Rush" for a rapier, "Skittle" for a pan, and "Dum-Dum" for a hammer. Would like to know what the community creates for candy names of alumite tools.
Additionally, what other tool materials could have themes? This included multi-part tools, not just of one material. The theme would go with the main part, like the head for a pick, or a sign for a battlesign. Note: paper will be used to up modification.
Okay, so I've been wondering... mDiyo's TC-integrated add-ons and mods (TMechWorks and Natura, specifically) don't, in my opinion, have enough content individually to merit their own wikis. They do, however, have information that is relevant to Tinker's Construct. I'm thinking we could have the pages for TMW items and Natura items, but have it explicitly marked at the beginning of the pages that it is from another mod.
I'm not sure, though, if Natura should be on here or on its own wiki.. Go ahead and leave comments below as to whether or not you think it should be on here or on its own wiki. If we figure it should be on its own, I'll make the wiki and we'll officially have a sister-wiki! :D
**NOTE: This does not include third-party add-ons s…
Okay, so as I'm writing this, I've just finished the Smeltery template. It was a bit more difficult than expected, but I'm happy it works. But, more importantly, I felt the need to explain how to upload and format pictures of items for use on the templates. I also thought it might be useful to give a little tutorial on how to add templates.
- 1 Pictures
- 1.1 Formatting
- 1.2 Uploading
- 2 Templates
Now, the first step if making sure the formating of the picture on your (the reader's) Hard Drive. Listed below are the needed guidelines, If these are not followed, then the picture will not work right with the templates (Currently: Crafting, Smelting, and Smeltery) and/or I will get angry at you:
- The file must be 32 px by 32 px. Most of Minecraft's sprites are…
Basically anything in the assets -> tinker -> textures -> items -> materials folder that I think is necessary (probably won't do nuggets and small stuff like that, but yeah :D)
So if you're thinkin' bout adding some pics, wait till I've got my item pics up tomorrow morning.
I'll be signing off for the day in 9 minutes, so here's the game plan:
TrillingFlute: Stay beautiful.
ThermX: See above.
Argentum: Keep calm and Nazi on.
Satherian: See if you can get the template from the tekkit wiki that allows you to do furnace recipes. Also, if you could reverse-engineer their recipes enough to make a tool building recipe thing, that would be simply awesome (though you'd likely have to make tons of templates.. Perhaps it would be better to just use pics …
Okay, so I have a pretty nasty issue.. In my modpack, RAM usage exceeds the default maximum for minecraft, and causes it to crash.
I can't decide which course to take.. I could either shave off mods, set custom JVM parameters, or go with a custom launcher that would set those parameters for you. I'd love to do the last, but I don't know exactly how to do this...
What do you guys think?
Also, I'm thinking about making 3 modpacks: WightPack Magus, WightPack Technophile, and WightPack Ultimate. The first two are pretty self-explanatory, and the last is just a combination of the two for those with beefier computers.
So, I'm creating this blog post for a simple reason: so that I won't have to comment on other threads that I uploaded the story. This way I can modify this page, and it'll show up for people who are subscribed. Simple and easy.
Also, Part 4 is up. Pokeli and Megumi are freed and they discover a problem with their plan. Part 5 will be the end of the back-story-arc and will introduce a new character.
- 1 Update 1
- 1.1 Current People:
- 1.2 Update:
- 1.3 Update:
So I've finished Part 5 and sent it to TrillingFlute. Part 6 is on it's way.
Satherian (Name from Me) - Main Character, 10 years old, Magical Winter Powers, Parents eaten by Bears.
Fallanus (Name from Best Friend who introduced me to Minecraft) - Leader of the Wolves,
The Wolves - A group of 5 Werewolf s…
This story is on the origin of my character, and may be crappy at times since I'm making this up as I go. Anyway, here is are the logs 1-20 of a player, who is to be the "father" of the entity known as TherminatorX.
I have decided to record my research and findings in this log. Delving into artificial life and intelligence is something one must document fully. After my pet wolf Wilma died in a vicious witch attack, I preserved her mind and heart in hopes of finding some way to bring her back. I must hurry.
Modifying and infusing my diamond armor with redstone, I hope to re-create Wilma in a new form. A mixture of bonemeal, water, and glowstone dust seems to somehow preserve life in her remains. The redstone doesn’t break in the f…
You probably won't be aware of this if you haven't been following the Tinkers' Construct thread, but mDiyo has stated that Tinkers' Construct is "done" and he will no longer be developing it. While the Slimeknights (I've never figured out, is that one guy or a team?) will continue updating and bugfixing, it seems that our favorite mod has come to an end.
Now this may not be as dire as I've made it out to be. It may be that mDiyo is simply stepping down as head of the team, and (the) Slimeknight(s) will probably add more content in the future, but mDiyo did make it seem that there's not much coming for the future.
However, so much is left undone! The Exo-Armor seems unfinished, fishing poles were promised and never added, and the Diary of a T…
In order to make this Wiki more readable and visually appealing, I'd like to have someone who knows how to make templates.. I've tried steal- I mean.. Borrowing the templates from ftbwiki.org (namely the crafting recipe templates) but it doesn't seem to work..
If nobody knows how, I suppose it's up to me to put my nose to the grindstone and learn quickly. >-<
So, after semi-careful consideration, I have decided to join the Wikia community. Many of the mods I follow have Wikia wikkis(plural of wiki?), so being able to edit and contribute officiallly(I previously just used "A Wikia Contributor") will help quite a bit. Due to a lack of nice pictures on the Tinker's Construct Wiki, I have decided to start there. Hopefully, the community benifits and I will too. Cyan for now! -ThermX
Note: Posting this mostly for Master_Wight's use, but others could look at it and agree or disagree.
So, as Master_Wight has pointed out, he would like to become the official Admin for the Tinkers' COnstruct wiki, mostly due to the abscense of the MrrGingerNinja (The starter of this Wiki, without whom this wiki wouldn't exist).
I, still being in school, do not want to take on the responsibility of having to care for the wiki, and so I am perfectly fine with Master_Wight becoming the Admin.
I am, though, interested in becoming a moderator. Now even if this position doesn't truely exist, it would just serve as representation of a higher status to the regular contributor. (ARGENTUM2 probably deserves it also, s/he's contributed quite a bit, too.…
I would like to start this soapbox speech off by thanking MrrGingerNinja for the work he (or she) has put into the wiki so far, and also for creating this Wiki so we have somewhere to look for info on our favorite mod. Well, it's my favorite at least :D (or is it..? ;D)
Sadly, though, MrrGingerNinja hasn't been seen on this wiki in quite some time. I joined in october of last year and haven't seen a bit of editing done by MrrGingerNinja in that time. However much work he/she may have put into this wiki, it doesn't mean that he/she can just leave and still expect to retain ownership of this wiki. We need someone who really wants this wiki to succeed and who will be on at minimum 2-3 times a week. We need someone who puts effort into the wiki…
Hello everyone, I'm Master_Wight.
I've adopted this Wiki as my personal project, but over time I've come to realize that I can't get it all done myself.. Not only does this wiki need to be completed, the existing pages need to all be checked for quality and correct information. We also need to get crafting recipe images, and images of how blocks appear in the game.
As much as I would love to devote all my time to playing minecraft and fiddling with TC and filling this Wiki in, I have other obligations to fulfil and need help if this Wiki is going to be completed and maintained. This is where you come in. If you would like to give some of your time to this Wiki, feel free to comment here with a short introduction so I can get a workforce org…
