Overview[]

Bolt

The bolt is a projectile fired by the crossbow. It is made from a bolt core and fletching.

Crafting[]

To make a bolt core, place any Tool Rod of any type into a casting table, and pour any type of molten metal over it. The poured metal will form the tip of the bolt core. Then, after making a fletching in a part builder, use the tool forge to assemble the finished bolt.

(For FTB Direwolf20 1.10 modpack, place an arrow shaft of any type)

Modifiers[]

Modifiers can only be applied to the Crossbow, not the bolt. [Note: this may vary depending on your mod pack and version.]

Part Traits[]

The bolt consists of two different parts, and they both affect the bolt differently. Please note that certain modpacks have implemented their own material re-balances, so the best materials for each part may vary from modpack to modpack. The materials here only reflect the base statistics for Tinkers' Construct.

(note: both parts of the Bolt core affect the weight and break chance of the bolt)

Tool Rod: Affects ammo count of resulting bolts, Dependent on the Durability Multiplier stat of the material.

Bolt Tip: Affects damage and ammo count of resulting bolts. Ammo count dependent on the raw Durability stat of the material, damage dependent on damage value of material.

Fletching[]

Depending on what type of fletching you chose, it will change the durability, breaking chance, and accuracy of the bolts.
