Cactus is a non-metallic tool material created by putting a cactus into the part builder, that applies the Jagged I ability. The Jagged I ability allows it to increase its damage as durability decreases. As such, it is often used as bindings or guards on weapons. For bows, it is slightly better than Wood, while retaining the Jagged ability.
