Material |
Cobalt a tool material in Tinkers' Construct. It can be found naturally in the form of Cobalt Ore, which can only be found in the Nether, usually in the high Y levels (most abundantly between 32 and 95). It can be made into blocks, ingots, and nuggets like most other metals, and can be melted down in the Smeltery. It can be used for tools, adding the ? ability, and is also used to make the alloy Manyullyn.
Smelting[]
Cobalt Ore can be first mined by Obsidian Pickaxe or greater such as Alumite, then later by Cobalt, Ardite, and Manyullyn picks, and can be put in the Smeltery to make two ingots' worth of Cobalt.

Uses[]
Molten Cobalt can be combined with Molten Ardite in a Smeltery in a 1:1 ratio to make Manyullyn. It also has the use shown above.

Location[]
This can be found in the Nether just like Ardite, in the high Y levels. It is a bluish colour which makes it easier to spot than Ardite, since the blue contrasts with the netherrack.
