The Tool Station is used to combine your tool components together into usable tools. This allows you to make the first tier of tools. (The second tier tools require a Tool Forge) The Tool Station is made by placing a Blank Pattern over a crafting table in a crafting interface.

A Tinker Table is a crafting station placed adjacent to a Tool Station or a Tool Forge.

Tool Station GUI

Default GUI for the Tool Station

The Tool Station has 12 tabs found on the left side of the GUI. When a tool is selected, place the required parts into the indicated boxes. All parts must be present for the tool to be created.

Repairing

The Tool Station can also repair your tools up to maximum health.

To repair a tool, you must choose the 'Repair and Modify' button (which looks like an Anvil) and place the tool in the slot that appears to have a 'Pickaxe' in it, along with an ingot of the material used to create the head of the tool in the modifying slot.
